Basanti Puja Celebrated Throughout Islampur this Year

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 4th April, 2017: Today Islampur celebrated Basanti Puja with religious fervor. A total of 9 pujas were held at Islampur this year. Though the grandeur has faded from the last year yet people were seen to be much enthusiastic about the process.
The social clubs like Rabindra Sporting Club, Royal Sporting Club, Durganagar Adarsha Sangha, Vivekananda Boys Club etc have organized the Basanti puja like the previous years. Oldest among the puja organizers is the Royal Sporting Club. People today were seen giving Asthami Anjali at various pandals.
